ISLAMABAD: The government and the opposition parties have agreed to summon session of Senate on May 12. 

The decision was made in a house business advisory committee meeting held under the chair of Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.

The meeting decided to hold the session of the upper house on the alternate days of the national assembly session for two hours to discuss the situation arising after coronavirus outbreak.

The government and the opposition agreed to exercise social distancing during the session.
