ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in National Assembly,Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari walked out of the parliamentary leaders’ meeting when Prime Minister Imran Khan left after completing his speech on video link..
The premier addressed the meeting of parliamentary leaders convened by speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser on account of the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country.
After addressing the meeting through the video link Prime Minister left the meeting over which leaders of the two major opposition parties expressed their resentment and walked out of the meeting when the PM left after completing his address.
PML-N president Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif criticized the PM saying that he is not even ready to sit down with the opposition, which shows his level of seriousness.
The young PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who was waiting with Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister Sindh, for his turn to address the meeting also walked out of the meeting along with Shahbaz Sharif.
However, other PML-N leaders kept on participation in the meeting.
