Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shahbaz Sharif has demanded a debate on the global pandemic coronavirus, Karachi plane crash and on others matter in the coming session of the parliament.
The Opposition leader in NA has written a letter to Speaker NA Asad Qaiser and presented his demands in which he said that there will be five days prior to presentation of the budget in the coming session of the parliament called on June 5 and demanded a debate on matters related to national importance.
Shahbaz giving his opinion said that the first day out of five available days debate on the global epidemic coronavirus, it’s spread and prevention be conducted while discuss the Karachi plane crash on the second and select the third for debate on the sugar scandal.
The PML-N President demanded a discussion on privatization of national carrier PIA hotels and airports on 4th day and called upon the NA speaker to conduct a debate on the situation emitted out of the locust attack on the last available day.
Along with all the demands for debate on national issues he also demanded the government to give the opposition members 120 minutes and conclusion of debate by a minister representing the federal cabinet.
Shahbaz Sharif also prayed for the early recovery of the Speaker NA.
