LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif presided a meeting over the global epidemic coronavirus just after his return from London.
The Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shahbaz Sharif Chaired the meeting through a video link while the meeting reviewed overall situation of the country.
The huddle formed two committees at the party level dealing with challenge of coronavirus and a health task force has been formed comprising political leaders.
The health task force headed by Atta Ullah Tarrar will prepare recommendation for helping people and monitoring of the coronavirus while Maryam Aurangzaib will take up the role of media coordination.
A parliamentary advisory group and second committee also formed comprising provincial presidents and senior leaders. While other decisions will be announced after the approval of the parliamentary advisory group meeting.
Shahbaz Sharif offered the government to use Sharif group hospitals as a quarantine centers while he said that the Ittefaq Hospital and all hospitals of the Sharif group available to provide facilities for the prevention of the coronavirus.
