Islamabad: Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shahbaz Sharif paying rich tributes to martyrs of Kashmir has said that today Kashmiris have proved that Kashmiris love the Quran-e-Kareem, the book of God and Islam more than their own lives.
In his message on Kashmir martyrs day, President Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) said that this day in July 13, 1931, those who embraced martyrdom outside Srinagar Central Jail against Dogra Army who has backing of English imperialism are written in the history with golden words.
Shahbaz Sharif further said that it is a clear message by Kashmiris by sacrificing 22 lives to complete call of prayers that they can not be defeated nor suppressed.
The call of martyrs are still echoing with full force in Occupied Kashmir in the form of the freedom struggle, he added.
The PML-N President clarified to India it should not be in any misunderstanding, Occupied Kashmir is a region having Muslim population in majority and it will remain, Inshallah.
Shahbaz Sharif said that a new intensity has come in India’s attrocities and cruelty since August 5, 2019 which is condemnable, he said.
He further said that Kashmiris are asking to world community, United Nations and Security Council when they will get justice adding that the sacrifices of resident of Kashmiris are unforgettable.
