LAHORE: PML-N president and the Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has demanded of the federal government to immediately increase the number of special flights to bring back stranded Pakistanis abroad.

Reacting on the plight and problems being faced by the Pakistanis stranded abroad, Sharif asked the government to ensure return of Pakistani nationals to the homeland before Eid.

He said Prime Minister Imran and FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi should perform their role in bringing back the countrymen from abroad.

The opposition leader said that Pakistanis stranded abroad would have been in the country if the PM and the FM had acted promptly.
