Sherpao’s QWP quits coalition with KP govt

PESHAWAR: Chairman Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has announced parting ways with coalition government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Addressing a news conference in Peshawar, he said provincial PTI government did not consult his party during the last two years.

Sherpao said the Parliament should complete its tenure in the larger national interest.

Provincial President of QWP Sikandar Hayat Sherpao said PTI did not take their party into confidence on Panama Papers case.

He said expelling QWP from the coalition government is one-sided decision of PTI and it is against the written agreement between the two parties. – APP
