LAHORE: Sibtain Khan on Tuesday took oath as Punjab’s provincial minister.
According to details, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar took oath from him during a ceremony at the Governor House while Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar, provincial ministers, provincial assembly member were in attendance.
Sibtain Khan had tendered his resignation from the post of provincial minister for forestry, wildlife and fisheries after being arrested by the NAB in relation to corruption charges against him.
However, the former minister was released from jail following Lahore High Court (LHC) granted him bail.
The PTI leader was elected from home town of Prime Minister Imran Khan PP 88 Mianwali while he has been provincial minister back in 2007.
