KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khurram Sher Zaman on Tuesday demanded clarification from Sindh governments over Rs 100 billion taken from world bank.
Addressing a presser in the Insaf house today, he said that when Karachi was sinking the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party was celeberating birthday of its co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Khurram Sher Zaman said that after two hours of rain in Karachi, the situation is in front of everyone adding that despite having two ministers for the same department the city has sinked on the other hand the ministers tell lie that the water cleared from the arteries.
He said that district and local governments in Sindh are completely inactive while he also accused Sindh government of irregularities in drain cleaning fund and Rs100 billion from World Bank.
Khurram Zaman, while urging International organization to investigate Sindh government, said that provincial government is damaging image of Pakistan in the world.
He also said that conspiracies are being hatched to delay local bodies election in the province.
Responding to statements by provincial ministers regarding construction on drains, he said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is ruling Sindh for last 12 years than why were encroachments allowed.
