ISLAMABAD: Mumtaz Bhutto on Friday announced to merge his party, the Sindh National Front, with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The merger accord was signed by PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and SNF vice chairman Ameer Bux Bhutto.
Taking to media regarding the merger, Qureshi said PTI had been in talks with Mumtaz Bhutto for the past few months.
Qureshi claimed that youth of Sindh has welcomed Imran Khan with great valour,” Qureshi said.
Ameer Bux Bhutto said people of Sindh are unhappy with the current government. He said PPP has not filled political void in Sindh, adding that PTI is the only political party that is capable of bringing change in the country.
The SNF had merged into Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in 2012, but later decided to end the merger and revival of the party in 2016. – Samaa
