KARACHI: Businesses have opened in Karachi on Monday as the federal government and Sindh government decided to ease lockdown.
Trade activities at the lighthouse started including the Iron market, timber market. The business activities in the city have been frozen for 50 days after the imposition of lockdown.
The businesses have been allowed to open with the implementation of SOPs while small markets will be opened from 8 am to 4 pm.
Barbershops, beauty saloons will not be opened while educational institutes, transports and shopping malls will remain closed.
Complete lockdown will be observed in Sindh on Friday, Saturday and Sunday while ban will be placed congregations, rallies, and religious gatherings.
