RAWALPINDI: A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred after Indian troops resorted to “unprovoked firing” from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Baroh and Chirikot sectors of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.

In a statement, the military’s media wing said Sepoy Naimat Wali embraced martyrdom while two women of serian village sustained serious injuries due to the ceasefire violation by Indian troops.“Pakistan Army troops targeted Indian Army posts in response. Post substantially damaged. Reports of casualties to Indian troops,” the ISPR said.
