Islamabad (December 7, 2017): The federal government on Wednesday appointed Sultan Azam Temuri as the new Inspector General of Islamabad.
Sultan Azam Temuri, a BS-20 officer of Police Service of Pakistan was serving as Regional Police Officer (RPO) at Gujranwala division before assuming the new office.
Whereas the former IG Islamabad Muhammad Khalid Khattak was directed to report establishment division with immediate effect Until further orders.
On the other hand, a BS-20 officer of Secretariat Group named Ehsanur Rahim, presently posted as defence production division joint secretary, was transferred and posted as water resources division joint secretary. Another BS-19 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as interior division joint secretary was transferred and posted as defence production division joint secretary under section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973 with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, cabinet division issued the notification of Chaudhry Naseer Ahmad Bhutta as special assistant to the prime minister on legal affairs.
