ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that there would be no compromise on the protection of the rights of labourers.
Addressing a press conference in Sialkot on Sunday, the special assistant said that if the industry does not work, then the wheel of the economy will also not run in the country, adding that the federal government will try to revive sick industrial units.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to revive sick industrial units of the country,” Firdous said.
Firdous Ashiq Awan also mentioned that the government was going to protect the rights of hard workers.
The SAPM further said that the premier also decided to take practical steps to end unemployment. “It has also been decided to initiate an inspector equipped regime in the industries. A task force has been established to revitalize the textile industry,” she explained
“The rights of the business community will also be protected,” the special assistant maintained. “The injection containing poisonous had been administered to the economy by the previous government,” she added.
