Lahore (June 26, 2018): The torrential rain and followed by storm and gusty winds disrupted power system in Lahore as parts of Sindh also received moderate rain today, Tuesday.
According to details, heavy downpour exposed the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) power supply system and more than 70 feeders got tripped that plunged the most parts of the city into the dark.The main thoroughfares submerged in rainwater that causing trouble for motorists and pedestrians.
Sindh: Heavy to moderate rains was also reported in various cities of Sindh particularly upper Sindh. Jacobabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Ghotki, Mirpur Mathelo, Dehrki and some other parts also received rain that turned the weather pleasant.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has said that the metropolis will likely to receive rain on Thursday and Friday, along with most of the rest of the country.
Rain and thundershower with gusty winds are expected today at isolated places in Bannu, D.I. Khan, D.G. Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Sukkur, Larkana, Sh. Benazirabad, Kalat divisions and Kashmir.
