TTP Chief Mullah Fazlullah Killed In Afghanistan


Kabul (June 15, 2018): Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Chief Mulla Fazlullah has reportedly been killed in Afghanistan on late Thursday.

The spokesman for U.S. forces in Afghanistan Lieutenant-Colonel Martin O’Donnell said U.S. forces conducted a counterterrorism strike, June 13, in Kunar province, which targeted a senior leader of a designated terrorist organization.

Afghan Government did not confirm the death of Mullah Fazalullah.

Maulana Fazlullah, who was named TTP chief after the death of Hakimullah Mehsud in a drone strike in November 2013, United States offered a $5-million reward for information on Mullah Fazlullah.Mullah Fazlullah had also claimed responsibility for the methodical killing of over 140 pupils and teachers at the Army Public School in Peshawar in December 2014.
