KARACHI: Two security guards were shot dead outside the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) office in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi on Monday.
The guards, affiliated with a private company, were shot at multiple times by men riding a motorcycle.
They were working at the FBR office for the last 15 years. The bodies were shifted to the Jinnah Hospital.
Sindh home minister Sohail Anwar Siyal has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Karachi police chief.
On August 9, five robbers had looted cash from a branch of Al-Baraka Bank in Kharadar’s Boulton Market and managed to flee along with the cash and guards’ weapons.
A day before that, an operational bank manager of UBL Bank was killed in Ferozabad for resisting during robbery.
