ISLAMABAD: Two suspects retracted their confessional statements after five years in the murder of Muthaida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq.
Dr Farooq was stabbed to death outside his house in London in 2010.
As per details, Khalid Shamim and Mohsin Ali, the main suspects in the murder case retracted their confessional statement before the anti-terrorism court.
Five years ago both the suspects have confessed killing the MQM stalwart before magistrate. After the development, the ATC adjourned the hearing of the case till May 19 and directed the authorities to make arrangements for hearing the case via video link.
