ISLAMABAD: The U.K. on Friday announced that it would provide 4.39 million pounds of funds to Pakistan for vital health support to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and protect the poorest and most vulnerable people in the country.

The British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Christian Turner, said that across the world millions of people were being affected by COVID-19 and expressed confidence in Pakistan’s resilience and capability to defeat the virus.
