Utility Stores Spokesperson Denies Increase in Prices

ISLAMABAD: Following the reports of an increase in prices of essential items, the spokesperson Utility Stores rubbishes the news and said the prices of utility stores items still low than market prices.

In his statement, the spokesperson said that the prices of items at the Utility Stores very low and in the next week the prices will cut down further as per PM Imran’s relief package.

“Each item available at Utility Stores and no dearth was witnessed and available less than 20 per cent from market prices and the staff of the Utility Stores is working hard to make the PM relief package successful,” spokesperson said.

Earlier, new was circulated that the prices of Ghee increased by Rs 14 per kg, cooking oil Rs 24 per kg, Dal Chana Rs 25 per kg, Dal Masoor Rs 27 per kg and rice jumped with Rs 25 per kg.
