Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday reserved verdict on a petition against the publicity of PTI flag on the sehat insaf card.
Chief Justice Islamabad High Court (IHC), Athar Minallah heard the case while Deputy Attorney General Tayyib Shah submitted reply of the federation today.
The reply stated that no any publicity is being done on the card, on the occasion Chief Justice Athar Minallah asked to show him card on which the Deputy Attorney General showed the card.
Justice Athar Minallah said that it is a publicity and the government is going against the Supreme Court’s verdict adding that don’t defend which is not in your hand and this is not done unintentionally.
The ministry of health counsel informed the court that the insaf sehat program is a scheme of the federal government and the health ministry oversee it, to which, the CJ sarcastically said “does it happen in other countries, do the photographs of Trump and Boris Johnson get publicity.”
During the course of the hearing, the petitioner counsel Mohsin Shahnawaz informed the court that as per the general financing rules, public money can not be used for personnel interests adding that the sehat card has a party flag on it.
Later, the court reserved the verdict after listening arguments of both the sides.
