ISLAMABAD: PTI chief Imran Khan said on Friday that in order to beat India this Sunday at The Oval, Pakistan needed to bat first if they win the toss.

The cricketer-turned-politician said that he was impressed by the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed who had taken bold decisions.

“I am very much impressed by Sarfaraz’s captaincy. He turned out to be a very good captain. He’s a brave skipper,” said Imran.

The PTI chairman said that in order to clinch the final against the arch-rivals at The Oval, Pakistan needed to bat first if they won the toss.

“Our bowling is our main strength, not our batting,” he said. “If India bat first and they put up a good score, which they did in the first match, then our batsmen will be under pressure,” he added.
