ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeem-ul Haq has urged Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif to step down over recent statements during his visit to United States.

Calling Khawaja Asif’s remarks as ‘anti-Pakistan’ and ‘pro-India’, Haq said the statements ‘are tantamount to committing treason with Pakistan’.

“We demand that Khawaja Asif should immediately resign, and condemn his pro-India and pro-America statements. Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi should be ashamed…” he said while speaking to reporters outside Supreme Court. – Samaa
