The video has been filmed in Mumbai with Rani playing around with children of slum areas.

The video has special message that addresses prevalent societal discriminations. Hichki is meant to be a preference for fair skin, partiality towards people with disabilities, females not having the right to make certain choices among others.

The movie showcases the life of a common girl played by Rani. The character of Mardani star in the film is suffering from a nervous system disorder called, Tourette Syndrome that forces people to make repetitive movements or sounds, involuntarily.

The film is all about turning tables on your weaknesses and failures despite all odds with the positive attitude that makes it possible for one to take challenges head-on.
