Islamabad (June 30, 2018): The chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan citing distribution of tickets was a big agony said that there were several good candidates but the tickets would be awarded to only suitable ones.
“Whenever selector select 11-member team he is bound to not select more than 20 members squad and the players left behind became disappointed but they must work continue for keeping future in view,” cricketer turned politician said during his address to workers convention in Islamabad by kicking off election campaign in NA-53.
He further explained ticket distribution, “Once he also felt disappointed when he was not selected in the team.”
Lashing out Sharif family, as usual, Imran Khan said that their wealth was in foreign banks and it was increasing as the passage of time, therefore they did not have any worry about their wealth.“Must not cast their vote for those whose death and life is not linked with Pakistan and their wealth deposited in foreign banks,” Imran directed the workers.He alleged that when Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari came to rule the dollar prices was Rs 60 but at the moment it jumped to 125 that caused the inflation in the country.
PTI chairman holding the responsible Zardari and Nawaz Sharif for huge debts said that they have sunk the country in the burden of loans that have jumped to 27 thousand billion.
He continued, “Who will pay off such a huge burden of loans?”
Khan stated that first rule of competition is to never underestimate your opponents whereas he revealed that protest on tickets’ issue had inflicted pain on him.
“[As many as] 4000 people filed applications for the ticket. We can’t award ticket to everyone”, asserted Khan.
He lauded the women members of his party for their services during [Islamabad] sit-in, however, noted that awarding tickets to women, who could legislate, was necessary.
Taking a jibe at arch-rivals, Khan apprised attendants that they [read Sharif family] were caught red-handed in Panama Papers case. Khan taunted that duo of father-daughter [Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz] were crying as they were subjected to great injustice.
