ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday issued written orders of hearing of coronavirus suo-moto case heard yesterday..
It is said that in the orders the federal and provincial governments have assured measures against the coronaviurs for the protection of the masses.
Attorney general Faisal Javeed Khan has informed that all available resources are being used for tackling th pandemic besides assurance has been given for the consultation with the government for legislation regarding the coronavirus, stated in the order.
The provinces have also assured measures for the prevention of the coronavirus.
It was briefed to the court that doctors and paramedical staff around the country are on the frontline against the deadly disease while the court ordered to provide all necessary medical equipment to paramedics besides that Chief of Pakistan Medical Association has ensured to complete registration of 40000 doctors soon.
The SC in its order said that situation in Sindh has worsened the people are on protest against the administration while people of the province are not being provided any facility to buy necessary goods.
The Sindh government didn’t provide any details of the distribution of ration worth of Rs eight billion and ordered the provincial government to submit a detailed report on the next hearing.
The Court also called details of high level meetings on the global epidemic coronavirus while annulled the travel restriction notification of the Punjab government and said it is prerogative of the federal government under article 15.
