KARACHI: Chairman Young Doctors Association (YDA) Sindh has threatened suspension of services if incidents of violence on Doctors not stopped.
Talking to abbtakk news physician consultant at the Jinnah Hospital Karachi and Chairman YDA Dr. Muhammad Umar Sultan said that effects of easing of lockdown have started to surface as the whole of the city has exposed to the virus.
Highlighting the worsening situation of the city he said that all the capacity of Karachi’s private and government hospitals to provide beds and ventilators have ended as we have asked the government not to ease the lockdown.
Chairman YDA said that it is not the responsibility of the doctors to provide ventilators and isolation beds and urged the families of the patients to avoid torture on the doctors.
He categorically said that if incidents of torture not ended then we might suspend services.
