Pakistan is slowly but surely building up the strong combination in sports as they are producing match winning young talented players one after the other. Pakistan Super league (PSL) has done the same miracle which IPL performed for Indian cricket which transformed into a festival for the country.

PSL provided the right platform for the enthusiastic youngsters to excel and show the world where they stand in world cricket fraternity thus paving the way for accolades. PSL has given it a new adhesive approach to produce sensational talent across Pakistan, which in result lead to discover players like Yorker specialist Hasan Ali, decisive medium-pacer Ruman Raees, googly specialist Shadab Khan, power-hitter Fakhar zaman, Pakhtoon Pacer Usman shinwari, run-machine Babar Azam and many more to come yet.

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Pakistan was in need of sparking talent in the squad which could generate good results. Pakistan was having a tradition to retain senior players despite their often bad performances, but this time the old adapted custom has demolished and we could observe the new developing team comprising aggressive young players who are helping Pakistan to produce top-notch results.

The problem of not selecting the right team in recent years was due to some of the senior players who always desired to play longer, not giving chances to the younger ones, which resulted not positively for the country sports.

Belief can make power and having faith in young generation can demonstrate better results, instead of utilizing the older ones. It is true that experience is required to cross big huddles, but the young players should also get chances on regular basis which will help them to gain experience and exposure.

Meanwhile, the lack of concentration by the PCB is also one of the reasons why some of the players were not utilized properly. The board always wake up at the time when there is nothing to lose, similarly we observe after the retirement of Misbah and Younis from Test cricket, the team had to go through difficult phase, humiliated 2-0 defeat against Sri Lanka, the first Test series under new captain Sarfaraz.

Now at this point of time where already we are down to 7th rank, our selectors are in a hurry to develop the players to fill-in for Misbah and Younis.

If we take a look of other cricket playing nations of the world, we would come to know that they have accurate planning for their better future. They work hard on their players from the very beginning in order to make their bench stronger, so if in future their seniors retire, they would have many choices in spare to fill the space for them.

Let’s have an example from one of the dominant Test playing side India, who is looking for approaching high in order to make their team’s future bright.

Despite having MS Dhoni in the squad who is successful captain of Indian Cricket History so far, the Indian board has appointed Virat Kohli as the captain for the team in all three formats.

Ms Dhoni is famous for his cool temperament which is very essential for a leader, also having numerous unforgettable accomplishments under his belt, BCCI didn’t hesitated in taking the bold decision  just giving the impression to the world that there is no dearth of quality leadership in the country.

Pakistan is also coming up strongly but the PCB should attain positive attitude to produce the players earlier and it could only be possible if the board nourish the Domestic circuit which might play a key role to produce more sensational talent across the country.
