LAHORE: An accountability court in Lahore on Friday extended judicial remand of Yousuf Abbas Sharif, nephew of the former premier Nawaz Sharif in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills (CSM) case.
The AC Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan heard the Chuadhry Sugar Mill case where in former premier Nawaz Sharif presented before the court.
The judge extended the judicial remand of Yousuf Abbass until January 17 while the court has called the investigative officer of NAB along with the record on January 17 over objections against on siezing Sharif family assets.
It is pertinent to mention here that counsel of Shahbaz Sharif Amjad Pervez advocate had filed objections against the seizing of Sharif family assets.
It is also worth mentioning the court has ordered freezing assets of Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz, Salman Shahbaz, Nusrat Shahbaz and Tehmina Durrani.
On the other hand the court also extended the judicial remand of Hamza Shahbaz for 14 days in the assets beyond income case.
